So for a little update on what went on this week....
Morgan had his routine scans to verify that his cancer was infact supposed to be gone, which they did appear clean!!! We are very grateful for that fact. When he went to his Doctor's appointment that same day, Morgan showed him a lump on his left leg above his ankle and the doctor did not find that lump to be one that should be brushed aside. So an immediate MRI was done and surgery was scheduled according to what the MRI would show from the next morning. After the doctor reviewed the MRI, it was decided that the lumps were to small to completely diagnose without going in for a biopsy, which ultmatley meant a surgery. Yes, another surgery. Not to mention that we were in the hospital on the same day last year for his anesthesia reaction, good times when that is remembered, right.
Anyhow- We were at the Huntsman Cancer center at 8:30 this morning for a biopsy of his left leg. The surgery went really well and without any problems or complications. The doctor said that we would know the results of the pathology report in about a week or so and we are still hoping that cancer is out of the question. He also said that the lump removal went well and that it didn't appear to be to abnormal for lumps. :)

Well, Bep and Bob...there is nobody that has claim to more reasons for romance than you two to make up for the unique way your Valentine's Days have been the past few years!
ReplyDeleteReally grateful for the positive outcome of Mork's procedure this morning. Heavenly Father really answered all our prayers! and will continue to do so as your names are on the Prayer Rolls of the Temples.

Good times are coming! There are lots of options ahead and I'm confident that things are ging to work out just fine...besides, there is some great fly fishing yet to do this year, so get healed up and let's get'r done! love...pops
