Yes, we felt the Nevada Quake!!! I have been getting up early to exercise and would have normally been on the treadmill, but I had stayed up late and didn't wake up this morning until 7:05. I was just laying there being lazy when the house started to shake...the bed was shaking...the dresser mirror was rocking back and forth. For a second, I thought it was a major gust of wind, but immediately realized that it was an earthquake. When Dale woke up, seconds later, I told him, and we turned on the TV to discover that yes, indeed, there had been a 6.5 quake just outside of Wells. I called Dale's Mother. Dad was building a fire and Mom came in to be with him. She sat down in her wheelchair which is there by the china cupboard. The instant that she sat down the cupboard doors shook and she thought, "My word! I must be gaining weight...if the house shakes when I sit down!" And, she promptly went in to weigh herself to find that she had actually lost 2 pounds. When I called, she realized what had really happened. Very funny!! Hope that is as close as any of us ever come to being in an earthquake!!! Hugs from Mom
