O-B-A-M-M-E-R !

Can we all say President O-B-A-M-A? Say it again, slowly with me. O-B-A-M-A. Okay, it's going to take some getting used to. All I can say is, I hope nobody is planning on making alot of money for the next four years. And um, I'm totally freaking out about healthcare. Being in the healthcare industry, it could very well affect our job. Take a deep breath. I need to relax here, I know. Sorry for the small rant.
On the flip side, I will say I do think it's a HUGE step forward that the country can get beyond it's racism and vote for an African American for President of the United States. After serving my mission in the south, were racism is still VERY, VERY REAL & SCARY, this is AWESOME!! For that reason, I'm stoked for the guy. Guess we'll see what happens.

  1. Yeah, I'm not stoked that Obama is our next President, but I think that there are some people here in Rexburg that are freaking out way too much. I even overheard a girl say in class that she wishes that the KKK was back in business. Good grief. Where's the faith?

  2. Health care is definitely a worry for me as well...no matter who is in office. Miles requires a whole lotta medical supplies that don't come cheap.

I was impressed with his victory speech. Time to give him our support and prayers.

  3. It's more like O-B-U-M-M-E-R!!! It makes me sick how the media is now saying we have to get behind this man...he has a big mountain to climb. Yeah! He helped build it! Where was the help for Bush!!! We have been at war for heavens sake! Now I'm afraid we are really in for war right here on our home turf. I'll keep praying for the country to see past the rhetoric! Passionate as always...Mom
