At Home in the New Nest!

The killer move is essentially over; the tears shed; scrubbing and rescrubbing done; and this week-end a high-powered ozone machine removed the last of the bugs, mustyness, and allergins. We now would be happy to have any of you come and stay...even sleep on the floors!...use the Sauna...and eat breakfast on the sunny back patio! We feel quite at home in the new digs! Amazingly enough...we have even talked about staying here and remodeling! Crazy I know!!! Anyway, we enjoyed so much getting away to the cabin with Morgan, Bethany, Claire, Sharese and Jordan!!! Now we will try to figure out the next move the Lord has in mind for us. For now, in these troubled times in our country...we will hunker down and try to stash away some funds...food storage...and energy for what may be in store. Thanks for the phone calls and sympathy! Cha cha cha changes...

Hey everyone! You've probably noticed a few changes around the forum. Hope you like the new look. (This is for you Mignon and Jen. I now see the world in denim.) Some of the features include new links to the regular bloggers in the family. You can now easily see in one glance if anyone has updated their blog. Also, as you can see, I put pictures of each family in the sidebar. I really like how that looks! Not to boast, but dang we have a handsome family. Good work Dad and Mom! Unfortunately I don't have updated family pictures for everyone. If you would like a particular picture to be used please email it to me so I can get it uploaded. (Mignon- for some reason I have zero pictures of your whole family. Send me one!) One more change is the Reunion Info site and the Reunion Comments site have been combined into one...Quigley Reunions. I think it'll be a lot more functional that way. If anyone has any questions or requests please let Greg or myself know. (I would love some ideas for the Home page. Any good ones out there?) We're grateful for your participation on this blog. I love getting together anytime, anywhere...even on the internet. Love you all!

2009 Family Reunion

Hey, Thanks to everybody that responded to my last minute Texts and Emails!

We got the Smokey Lodge Cabins at 6:23am this morning!

Our reservations are for Fri, August 14, 2009, 12pm – Tue, August 18, 2009, 12pm. Luckly it doesn't conflict with any of the blackout dates of the families that responded. Thanks again for letting me know. We'll give more details next year...

Can't wait for Melinda and Greg's reunion this Christmas! Island Park is a beautiful place in the winter. Save your money and donate heavily to the auction and we could get a boat or jet skies for next summer and leftovers to load the fund for Sharese and Jordan!
