Here's our beautiful little Eve. She is such a sweetheart. I can't wait for you all to meet her!
Greg trying to force me to be the first to say her name out loud. Stinker! Choosing her name has been tricky for us as many of you know, but I love what we ended up with. Eve has a pretty meaningful story behind it for me, and Marie is my middle name...plus it's just really cute in my opinion.

The boys are in love with there little sister. They've been dying to meet her for a long time now.
I hope you can see her awesome red hair in this picture. Greg and I were totally guessing that she was going to be a brunette, but we both love our little strawberry. It's the most amazing shade of auburn. Love it! Yay Reese...I've always loved your hair!
Eve enjoyed a visit from Grandpa today. He's smitten with his grandbaby number 19.
A big thanks to Mignon and Scott for watching Brenden and Miles. After the first time I called to check in all my fears for Miles went away. You guys are awesome! I can't thank you enough. They had an absolute blast!

ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm crying now!!!! Oh Melinda.... She's absolutely beautiful. Just so SWEET. And you look gorgeous too. I am so glad to finally see the pictures. I have been dying over here. I've wanted to be there to give your whole family a huge hug and also give little baby Eve tons of kisses. You and Greg have such a darn cute family. I'm so thrilled for you both. Congratulations. You done GOOD!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Gwen. ha ha. I guess it runs in our blood. I really did get all sentimental. I just miss my family. Seems like just a while ago that I held Lindsey as a baby. Now, I really sound old. ha ha. Wish I could be there to hold Eve too. I'll get to see her soon though, so I guess I'm good. I love the pictures of Miles and B with Eve. You can tell that they love her already. Evie was one of the names that I wanted for my girls, but it fits baby Eve so perfectly. I'll relinquish it only becuase she's a red-head. ha ha! Love and miss you all!

In the picture of Miles holding her and the one beneath it... She looks almost exactly like a red headed Carmen when she was in the hospital... And with miles already reminding me of Carmen, you never know, those two girls may be double trouble!
ReplyDeleteMelinda & Greg those pictures are too cute! Eve is pretty adorable in person but very rarely do you get pictures that make a baby look more angelic. Every single one of those do!!! Nice camera work and nice procreation work! (Can I say that? Probably not apropriate but you know what I mean!) We love you guys!
