NEWS FLASH!!!
It's official! Grandpa Garth W. Atwood and Doris Stock are engaged...rings and all! Everyone is invited to the wedding...Tuesday, June 24, 2008, Bluff Ward Building, Syracuse, Utah, at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served afterward. The Honeymoon will be in Nauvoo. Then, the couple will live in Doris's Condomium in Ogden close to the Ogden temple where they met and enjoy doing multiple sessions together. Doris loves to exercise, is a vegetarian, and a great cook. She won Grandpa over with her homemade apple pie. It sounds like a match made in heaven. Grandpa will be turning 86 in June. Rumor has it that Doris turned 92 in February, but she won't tell Dad how old she is. We wish them both the very best!!! Love to all, Dad and Mom Q

Wowza, that is breaking news! Go Grandpa! I'm bummed that we'll most likely have to miss the festivities. I guess if baby girl comes early there's a chance we could come, but even then it's a pretty slim chance. (ha ha...one of my babies come early? What am I smokin?!) Wait a minute...does that mean you'll be torn away from me if this baby comes on time, Mom? Aack! What will I do? Do I really have to share you? Ahh man! :)
ReplyDeleteGrandpa was so funny when he stopped by here the other day. He said "I've got a lady that has fallen for me." He was awaiting her decision on marriage. Sounds like it's a go!! Crazy. It's really crazy thinking about an 86 year old marrying an older woman whose 92. WOW! Go Grandpa!! We'll see if we can make it to the festivities. I don't know for sure what we'll be doing with the whole LAYOFF thing. We find out on Monday what our fate is. We'll let you all know.
