Because we as the Quigley couple can't do anything "normal" we thought that we would add another weird moment to our already weird start to married life. Today Morgan got up and was going to school when while walking up the stairs, yes just walking up stairs, he heard a loud snap followed by excrutiating amounts of pain in his right leg. Infact the snap was so loud that the people walking next to him in the stair well could hear the snap and looked at him like 'what the heck just happened to you'! After a trip to the ER in Rexburg and a confirmation that his leg had indeed broken we were on our way to SLC to visit with his doctors at Huntsman as they were concerned with possible complications from the break. Right now, Morgan is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday to place a couple of new screws by his ankle to stabilize the rod that was already in place, thank goodness. The doctors said that his leg doesn't have to be casted because it has an internal cast because of the rod and screw placements. But in the mean time, there is the pain issue. Good ole buddy... pain. He is really pretty sore right now but hopefully the pain will start to subside as the bone begins to heal. At least that is what the hope is going to be. So yeah for chalking one up on the weird board, we'll keep you all posted on the status of Morgan's healing process. Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and calls.
