Hey I love this idea. What do you think about changing the permissions so that everybody can log in with their own google account? All you have to do is email an invitation to each of us and we can log in with existing account or create one for those that don't. That way instead of every post having "posted by quigclan" it would have our name associated with the post and comment.

We can do this is everyone wants to do it that way. The reason we did it this way in the first place was so everyone could speak their mind in the reunion comments. We wanted to make sure everyone felt comfortable sharing their feelings without any kind of ridicule from anyone. There would not be any pressure to leave your name if you didn't want to. Just my 2 cents.

Brit's fam has a google blog that I use all the time, plus Gwen, Law, and I started a fitness blog that all sit in my google blog dashboard, so if we had the ability to sign into the quigley blog with our own accounts it would be incredibly convenient for me and Brit. GQ
ReplyDeleteThe choice to remain annonymous will still be there with the quigclan and lakewood username and password. I don't see any reason to tiptoe around each other. We are a family if we can't communicate openly then let's shut down the blog altogether. (I'm hoping someone will leave an annonymous blog commenting on this comment . . .) Brit says she wants to.
ReplyDeleteOk...I gave you permission. If anybody else would like to use their own google account for the family site let me know & I'll set up the permission. You can still use the quigclan login for anything you would like to be annonymous.
ReplyDeleteThat would be great for us as well. Especially because people usually forget to put their name on the bottom so it is hard to see exactly who the comment is from. So if you could send me an invite then I will use my google account. It is bepnbob@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks...

Can I have an invite too?
