It's 3 a.m. and I can't sleep, so I am going to try to express why I have heart palpitations that are keeping me awake. Sunday, all of the tour guides went through the Twin Falls temple. It was so special to your Dad and I to see this beautiful edifice finally finished, and to anticipate taking our friends and family through. It is a scary responsibility to represent the church and try to express to others your feelings about such a sacred place. That alone has caused heart palpitaions, but my lack of sleep tonight comes from the overwhelming honor that President Allen bestowed to all of us earlier this evening. To be invited to witness the dedication of this temple while actually sitting in the temple! In the presence of a living Prophet! Something that I still can't believe!! I feel such a huge sense of gratitude ...humility ...and tenderness! And I am so appreciative that the invitation was extended to all of the family! Everything is always more meaningful when shared with those that you love the most!!! The temple is the most sacred place on earth. How blessed we are to have one now in our own back yard! It's been a most memorible day! Now I must try to catch a few winks before Deanna Hamman comes to walk. With much love! Mama Q

Canal Boarding!

Scott whipped up a canal board and pulley system and we are having a blast on the canal this summer!  Anyone who wants to join us is welcome. Thanks for all your prayers for us.  We'll let you know when we find out what is going on.

Here's our beautiful little Eve. She is such a sweetheart. I can't wait for you all to meet her!


Greg trying to force me to be the first to say her name out loud. Stinker! Choosing her name has been tricky for us as many of you know, but I love what we ended up with. Eve has a pretty meaningful story behind it for me, and Marie is my middle name...plus it's just really cute in my opinion.

I hope you can see her awesome red hair in this picture. Greg and I were totally guessing that she was going to be a brunette, but we both love our little strawberry. It's the most amazing shade of auburn. Love it! Yay Reese...I've always loved your hair!


Eve enjoyed a visit from Grandpa today. He's smitten with his grandbaby number 19.


A big thanks to Mignon and Scott for watching Brenden and Miles. After the first time I called to check in all my fears for Miles went away. You guys are awesome! I can't thank you enough. They had an absolute blast!

Hey Family

I feel pretty small writing this.  I feel bad that I haven't been more open with all of you.  I kept thinking the wierd health things that I've had going on for the past two years would be nothing.  But things just seems to keep cropping up.  I have been use to dealing with a certain level of pain and usually can manage it okay.  It has been increasing though and I really struggle at times to appear normal (like at Melinda's shower and Memorial Day weekend).  The week I haven't been even close to normal.  My pain has been overwhelming at times.  I am doing better, but I realize that I need some help.  Just prayers really and understanding so if I am not myself you won't jump to the wrong conclusion.  The lumps and pain in my neck and breast are still unexplained but manageable at the moment.  But after a CT scan and two scopes, it appears that I am bleeding from my kidneys.  Not heavily, but this does not explain my abdominal pain.  I don't know how this is coming across to all of you.  This way of communicating is so impersonal.  I really am peaceful and fine emotionally and mentally.  Scott and the kids help me and we are all happy.  I will let you know when we know anything but I really don't want anyone to worry.  Just remember me and my family in your prayers.  Thanks!  I love you all.  And please don't comment on this post.  You're always free to call me.
