Because we as the Quigley couple can't do anything "normal" we thought that we would add another weird moment to our already weird start to married life. Today Morgan got up and was going to school when while walking up the stairs, yes just walking up stairs, he heard a loud snap followed by excrutiating amounts of pain in his right leg. Infact the snap was so loud that the people walking next to him in the stair well could hear the snap and looked at him like 'what the heck just happened to you'! After a trip to the ER in Rexburg and a confirmation that his leg had indeed broken we were on our way to SLC to visit with his doctors at Huntsman as they were concerned with possible complications from the break. Right now, Morgan is scheduled for surgery on Wednesday to place a couple of new screws by his ankle to stabilize the rod that was already in place, thank goodness. The doctors said that his leg doesn't have to be casted because it has an internal cast because of the rod and screw placements. But in the mean time, there is the pain issue. Good ole buddy... pain. He is really pretty sore right now but hopefully the pain will start to subside as the bone begins to heal. At least that is what the hope is going to be. So yeah for chalking one up on the weird board, we'll keep you all posted on the status of Morgan's healing process. Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and calls.

Updated Baptism info
We are canceling the baptism for Saturday. My dad lost his favorite uncle on Easter day and his funeral is scheduled for Saturday in Logan. So as not to make it a conflict for my dad we are going to have Emma baptised next month. Jenny doesn't know the date yet but as soon as we know I will post it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Seems like this is the year of the cancelation for the Garth Quigley family.
Thanks for your patience.

Emma's Baptism Info
Just a reminder for those who are thinking about coming...
Emma is getting baptised this Saturday the 29th. The baptism starts at 2:00pm at our Stake Center. To get to our Stake Center at 3305 W Kuna Rd, just take the same exit to get to Kuna and follow the road all the way through town. Right after the 4 way stop you go straight and veer to the left to go over the railroad tracks. After that just follow that road all the way out to Black Cat and you will see the Stake Center on your left. There will be a light dinner afterward for everyone that wants to stay or grab something on their way out of town. Everyone who would like to stay for Sunday is welcome, just let me know. Em is very excited!
We are having a great time in California! It is 80 degrees today and we are headed for the beach!! WooHoo! Easter was great fun for all. It was great to be here to do easter egg hunts, blow bubbles outside, eat lots of candy, got to church with Lee, Jana, and Carmen and to eat Jana's amazing feast! Wish you were here!
Love, US
PS This is Britani blogging under Garth's account just in case you were confused. He told me not to defile his name!!

The Pleasure Bowl
Hello family! I thought that I would let you know that I have changed our blog address. You can find us now at:
http://thepleasurebowl.wordpress.com
Jordan and I think it would be rad to open someday a rustic cafe for soup, hence the name "The Pleasure Bowl." There is a place in Washougal called the Corner Cupboard that serves really yummy soup, breads, baked goods, etc. Jordan and I love getting soup there and thought it would be fun to name our blog after a future soup endeavor. For the most part, though, it is just for the play on words.
Enjoy!

SUICIDAL DEER

Yo fam...made it down and back to the land of fruits and nuts (San Francisco) for the nml western meeting last week. everything went fine except for the suicidal deer south of Jackpot where Salmon Falls Creek meets up with with the highway by the Bois Ranch. came over the little hill, slowed way down, into the blind spot where about 20 deer were crossing the highway. no oncoming traffic so i hit the brakes and pulled way left. my left tires were in the left barrow pit. 19 head turned back to the north, however one just knew it could beat me south across the road. took out the right head light and front 1/4 panel, breaking much plastic. the passenger door will not open.i really looked styl'in in CA with my duct tape, avocado dip and deer hair job. other than the body damage, everything is fine. drove 1600 total miles without any probs. however, the car is totalled as it will cost more to fix the broken plastic than the rig is worth. bummer.
glad i wasn't book'in it thru there. my 1st deer strike in 50 year of driving. hope it's my last. stopped and looked around on my way back home. counted 102 head of deer grazing in that area within 100 yards of the road. crazy! the coyotes had already eaten my venison jerky.
stay tuned for the next addition to the fleet ~ probably a Harley for your angel mother to drive around! luv...pops

Saturday
Yesterday I had a revelation. Shopping for little girls is dangerous. My friend and I made the trip out to the outlets to shop the huge sales at Carter's and Oshkosh. I mostly went just to tag along, but I found out it's way too easy to find cute stuff for little girls. Baby girl definitely got spoiled.
This is one of my many favorite things I came home with. The little skirt behind the shirt is adorable. She won't be able to wear it until next summer, but I couldn't resist. Many of you know that if you ask Brenden what sex baby we are going to have, 7 times out of 10 he'll tell you it's an elephant. Last night we were joking that we should name her Elle. Elle Phant Hough. :)
Greg was so sweet to give me pretty much the whole day off to go play. He and the boys had fun though. They went to a big snowboarding contest on BSU campus. Greg wanted to see if he could get any good shots with our new camera. Miles especially loved it. He's such a daredevil. I won't be surprised if he's participating in something similar one day. Greg's been dinkin around with his own blog so if you want to see any of the shots, click on his link.
After I finally got home it was about time for Eli and Emma to show up. Garth and Brit had a date planned so the E's got to hang out with us for the night. This is a picture of Emma wearing the nightgown and pearls I got her for her birthday...which is today by the way. Happy Birthday Emma! It was great to be able to spend some one-on-one time with her after the boys went to bed. She's grown up so much! I'm so proud of her that she is choosing to be baptised...though I can hardly believe she's old enough. She was barely one year when Greg and I got married! That makes me feel old.

Today Brenden woke up with the pukes. Poor guy. Hopefully Garth and Britani won't regret having us watch their kids. Sorry!

Dress up race
Happy birthday Lauren!! We just came from Lauren's fourth birthday party. Jenny is so good at having lots of games and activities to keep the kids entertained. One of the games they played was a dress up race. Lauren was one of the first to go, and she did great. She hardly needed any help from her Mommy. She's getting so big, and looked super cute today with her painted nails and curly hair!
Kate seemed kinda unsure about about performing for a crowd for only a second. Look at that smile. What little girl resist dress up?
Brenden of course was not at all interested...which I'm not that sad about. :) He did manage to find some manly dress up stuff in the toy box while all the little girls raced.
Oh wait...who's this little princess? Could it be Gavin...or should I say Gavina? Ahhhh...what a "sweaty", eh Bry? (Ask Bryant about his sweaty sometime.) Gavin may be sweet, but he's all boy. He was a good sport to race so the teams would be even.

Most Popular Video on YouTube
I saw this today & it made me laugh. This is the most popular video on youtube with over 77 million views. It's pretty funny and at 6 minutes long, that's almost a half a billion minutes wasted watching that video alone or about 867 years worth of productivity lost. The internet is awesome!

Eli
Yesterday was Eli's birthday, and I didn't post a picture. Scandalous!!! It's only because I wanted to wait for this...
Eli and Will got to come to our house and play today while Britani and I took turns getting haircuts. Eli fits right in with my train obsessed boys. After lunch we had yummy, store-bought sugar cookies (go super Melinda...way to bake!) and opened his present. Eli is such a cutie. It's hard to believe he has grown so much. He is such a little man, and a chatter box! Pretty fun to have around today. Happy Birthday Eli! Thanks for coming to play!

By the way...
You may have noticed I put a link to our cousin Lorisa's blog on our site. I figure she's family. If I get links for any of the other cousins or Aunt and Uncles, I will put links for them on as well. My question is do you mind if I give them access to this site? I say yes. We are all family, and it would still be viewed by invitation only.

Beautiful feet
I love hanging out with my sisters! Gwen is in Boise with her family for the weekend, and I decided we needed to take advantage of that for some girl time. Gwen and Brit agreed so we spent yesterday morning getting pampered with pedicures.
Will was getting pretty jealous of our spoilage. What a rip off to have to sit and watch. Good thing he got to meet his Auntie Gwen. Any time with her is a party.
When I see this picture I have to wonder..."Why the heck am I not still sitting in one of those amazing chairs?!" Wouldn't it be nice to have a massage chair like that in your home? Ahhh.....
Gwen and Britani- You two are awesome! So chill, positive and beautiful. I love being around you. The only thing that would have made this morning better would have been having more of the girls come.
Yes, mine are the hot pink stubby toes. Gwen is sassy in red, and Brit chose classic Britani brown.
After pedicures, Gwen and I met up with our men for an amazing sushi lunch. For those of you wondering...the pregnant lady didn't eat anything raw, but that didn't stop her from eating WAY too much. It was all so yummy! Greg and I signed up to feed the missionaries last night, and felt kinda retarded when we couldn't eat with them. Our full rice bellies wouldn't allow it.
When Greg and I went to pick the boys up from the babysitter. Brenden was nowhere to be seen. In his place we found "Dark" Vader. My friend was so sweet to let him barrow their Darth Vader mask. He has barely taken it off since. He keeps sneaking up on us, and whispering, "I'm Dark Vader. Hee hee hee."
